As a species, human beings are unique individuals with distinct sets of needs, values, strengths, frustrations, and weaknesses. As a result of these differences, many of us often feel:

  • Misunderstood
  • Marginalized or not valued
  • Taken advantage of
  • That differences are not valued?
  • That communication is difficult or just not worth it with some people
  • That motivating people (including ourselves) is just too hard

Teachers and educators in general experience this more than most – after all, every student, parent, and colleague is different.

Personality Dimensions is a system that helps you to understand the people around you, including your students. In understanding the temperament of your students (and your own temperament) you can communicate more effectively with them, motivate them, and help them to achieve their goals. Additionally, you can help them to understand their own strengths and, in doing so, build their self-esteem.

Basically, it’s a fun, easy-to- use system that helps you to understand yourself, your students, their parents, and your colleagues better. And once you understand the people in your life, it’s easier to communicate, relate to, and help them.

We know that your priority is helping them to succeed. It’s ours, too!

This one-day event will help you to gain awareness and greater confidence as you:

  • Understand yourself better
  • Improve relationships with your students, their parents, and your colleagues
  • Identify the temperament of others so that you can:
    • Communicate effectively with people of each temperament
    • Motivate people of each temperament
    • Work with your students’ strengths and help them to feel confident in themselves

And on top of all that, it will bring more ease to relationships in your personal life.

I learned the Personality Dimensions system when I was 10 and have loved it ever since. I am a Level 1 Personality Dimensions trainer and a professor – and I use this in my classroom every day. I use it to understand my students. Because of this system, I am extremely aware of each student’s strengths and values – and I use that knowledge to help them grow, work in teams, and learn. I think that understanding my colleagues and students makes me a better teacher – and I am eager to share this system with others.
