As a species, human beings are unique individuals with distinct sets of needs, values, strengths, frustrations, and weaknesses. As a result of these differences, many of us often feel:

  • Misunderstood
  • Marginalized or not valued
  • Taken advantage of
  • That differences are not valued?
  • That communicating is difficult or just not worth it with some people
  • That motivating people (including ourselves sometimes) is just too hard

People who help or support clients through fields such as social work, therapy, counseling, health care, etc. experience this more than most – people in these professions are responsible for such a wide variety of individuals, and all of them are different.

Personality Dimensions is a system that helps you to understand the people around you, including your clients. In understanding the temperament of the people you work with (and your own temperament) you can communicate more effectively, motivate them, and help them to achieve their goals.

Basically, it’s a fun, easy-to- use system that helps you to understand your clients better. And once you understand the people in your life, it’s easier to communicate, relate to, and help them.

We know that your priority is helping them to succeed. It’s ours, too!

This one-day event will help you to gain awareness and greater confidence as you:

  • Understand yourself better
  • Improve relationships with your clients and colleagues
  • Identify the temperament of others so that you can:
    • Communicate effectively with people of each temperament
    • Motivate people of each temperament
    • Work with your clients’ strengths and help them to feel confident in themselves

I learned the Personality Dimensions system when I was 10 and have loved it ever since. I am a Level 1 Personality Dimensions trainer and a professor – and I use this in my classroom every day. I use it to understand my students. Because of this system, I am extremely aware of each student’s strengths and values – and I use that knowledge to help them grow, work in teams, and learn. I think that understanding my colleagues and students makes me a better teacher – and I am eager to share this system with others.
