Last week I told you that the biggest thing that guarantees your success is not quitting. But there’s someone very specific that you need to never give up on…

YOU!

Finding a way to become the person you love most in the world will create a solid foundation — a base of abundance for every area of your life — that will let you become the best version of ‘you’ possible and will positively impact more people than you can imagine.

Some of my clients worry that this will make them self-centered and egotistical. But when you really love yourself, it actually makes you less of those things and more able to love and give to others.

Look, you’re the only person that’s guaranteed to be with you from your first breath to your last. You’ll spend more time with you, have more talks with you, and do more things for you than anyone else could ever dream of doing.

If you’re going to spend that much time with someone, shouldn’t that person love you, want the best for you, believe in you?

Even if you’re not sure about yourself, there’s someone you know who is loved so deeply that they don’t question it – even for a second.

Think about how powerful it makes them, how at peace they are, how productive they are, how good their relationships are, and how happy they are. From the outside, it looks like things just come easily to them, doesn’t it?

Now imagine how different your life would be if someone loved you like that.

What would you be able to accomplish? Where would you go? What kind of people would you spend time with? You CAN be loved like that. It might take you a while to learn how, but you can do that for yourself.

And every person I’ve met who learns to love themselves so that they have a healthy sense of self-worth ends up having relationships with other people that are also loving. It’s a positive, wonderful cycle.

But it starts with you being brave enough to shed your limiting beliefs, love yourself, and create a life free of the limits other people have previously given you — a life full of the best and brightest version of you.

Loving yourself is the most important thing you’ll ever do. It won’t just allow you to reach new levels in your life; it’ll make a positive difference for everyone around you, too.

I think this quote sums it up nicely:

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”
